As part of this application you are required to upload copies of both your public liability insurance and food hygiene certicate if applicable. Please have these documents ready in electronic form and attach below where indicated.
We are always keen to hear from new traders with great products who are committed to regularly attending the North Parade Market.
We are predominantly a food market with an emphasis on fresh, local produce but we will consider applications from traders wanting to sell any high-quality products.
In the first instance please fill in the application form and someone with be in touch within a few days to discuss your application.
Please fill in all the main fields, leaving only the additional information field blank unless you want to add further information which might support your application.
Our standard pitch fee is £25 plus an additional £5.00 for power if required. (if you require power please ensure you bring a long extension lead as the socket may be some distance away from your pitch)
You will need to bring your own gazebo / table plus any other equipment you may require. See below for recommendations.
If you do not already own a gazebo we have always found the the ‘All Seasons Gazebos’ offer the best vaue in terms of quality / price / ease of use and weight. We suggest a 3m x 3m gazebo with a beige top which look good and are nice and bright when erected so show off your goods in the best light.
If you need a table then these can be purchased online, but in the past we have always used the ‘Lifetime’ range of foldable tables available from Homebase.
We insist that all new traders, if selling food to take away, that all packaging and cutlery is biodegradable. One of our traders has been kind enough to provide details of where this can be easily purchased through a company called BioPac.
